Wow! Momogi Snack Can Be Bought Abroad, in Australia and Cambodia

JAKARTA, DISWAY.ID – If you travel to Australia and Cambodia and crave for the Momogi snack, you’ll be able to buy it there.

Last August, Sari Murni Group successfully expanded to Australia and Cambodia by exporting Momogi, a snack made from corn extrudate.

To date, Sari Murni Group has successfully reached global consumers, particularly in the Oceania and Southeast Asia regions, following successful Momogi exports to Taiwan and Korea in Q2 2024.

Tuti Marlina, Vice President of International Business Development at Sari Murni, stated that Momogi’s export success is due to a deep understanding of local markets and trends.

“We always adapt to the needs and preferences of consumers in each country. Product design and packaging are one of our main strategies to attract consumer interest to try new products like Momogi,” Tuti explained.

In its expansion efforts into Australia and Cambodia, Sari Murni Group is presenting Momogi with flavors like Roasted Corn, Cheese, Chocolate, and Spicy Roasted Corn.

Not only that, Sari Murni Group is also actively participating in various international exhibitions such as Fine Food Australia to directly introduce the product and increase the appeal of the Momogi snack to local consumers.

Sari Murni Group also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a local Cambodian distributor on Friday, September 13, 2024, to strengthen distribution and ensure that Sari Murni Group products can be consumed by the people of Cambodia.

Success in the domestic market is a strong foundation for Momogi’s expansion into international markets. Throughout 2024, Sari Murni Group has expanded its market through 11 international trade shows in various countries, including Hong Kong, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Poland.

Furthermore, Sari Murni Group will also participate in the Trade Expo Indonesia, Sial InterFood, and Vietfood in Vietnam this coming October and November.

Sari Murni Group is also scheduled to sign an MoU with a business partner from Saudi Arabia concurrently with its participation in the Trade Expo Indonesia 2024, which will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at ICE BSD, Indonesia.

This is certainly a major step for Sari Murni Group to boost sales activity in the Middle East and strengthen Momogi’s position in the international market.
