Sydney, 13 September 2024 – A significant milestone for Indonesian food products in Australia has been achieved with the arrival of 1 x 40 HC (2,680 cartons) of Momogi Snacks at the warehouse of Sony Trading Pty Ltd in Sydney. The Momogi snack products, featuring cheese, roasted corn, and chocolate flavors, are a flagship product of PT. Sari Murni Abadi that successfully entered the Australian market through importation.
This importation is the result of ITPC Sydney’s facilitation, which connected the two companies during a business matching session a few months ago at the ITPC Sydney office. With a transaction value of USD 50,000, this shipment not only paves the way for the penetration of Momogi Snacks but is also expected to be the beginning of more Indonesian food products entering the Australian market.
The success of this importation demonstrates a significant demand for Indonesian food products in Australia and is expected to strengthen bilateral trade relations between the two countries. ITPC Sydney will continue to play an active role in supporting Indonesian exporters to expand the market reach of their products in Australia.
